Role Overview

Paralegals at our firm work directly with attorneys to ensure efficient case progression and compliance with federal court procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage large volumes of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation
  • Organize, review, and manage discovery materials
  • Draft, format, and proof legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and filing deadlines
  • Coordinate filings and submissions with federal courts
  • Communicate professionally with clients and third parties

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior litigation experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and document-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms and case management systems

Preferred Experience

  • Federal criminal or complex litigation experience
  • Experience handling large discovery productions
  • Familiarity with federal electronic filing systems (CM/ECF)
